So you want to get involved with unleash??? Here’s how!
unleash aims to showcase the many opinions, actions, talents and ideas of young people across NSW and Australia. Every edition will have tools, ideas, advice and inspiration for young people who want to be active, informed, engaged and heard.
Our magazine is a unique tribute to all the amazing things that we can do as a generation. And, most importantly, we want young people to be the ones saying it. Join in on the conversation!
1. Write us an article, because your voice matters!! It can be about anything – What makes your blood boil? What are you most passionate about? What fabulous things have you and your friends done lately that everyone should know about? How can our world become a better place? Email Bridie on unleash@yapa.org.au, we want to hear from you!
Articles can be as short as 300 words (that's only half a page!) or as long as 600... it's up to you. All of our lovely (named) contributors receive a free one-year subscription to unleash and we award a $50 voucher to the best article in each edition written by anyone under 20 years of age.
There are a couple of other things you’ll need to send in with your article – your name, a small photo, and a sentence telling us about yourself – ask Bridie for more details and information on copyright.
2. If you are arty and talented, we want your art for our front cover! The artist (or group of artists) will receive a $50 gift voucher for their efforts. We’ll also feature some details about you and your art on the contents page. Email your art to Bridie at unleash@yapa.org.au anytime.
3. If you enjoy reading unleash, and you don't already subscribe to it, we've got a subscription form for you to fill out so that you can keep up with our regular dose of youth action and opinion!! It's free.
